These are high speed / high capacity floppy drives, that can use standard floppies as the extended one, the LS [Laser Servo] discs. It´s what i did some time ago to get floppy support on some pc´s at the office. Windows XP works with them without problems. I don´t know if they works so well under Windows 7, but being IDE devices, they should work.
